Promotora Social México supports social-impact initiatives and investment across Mexico. As its grant-making and portfolio work grew, its information needed to travel farther than a form submission or a Word file.
When the grant request is in one system and the evidence is in another, the decision slows down
PSM receives grant requests through its existing CRM, but the qualitative information needed for evaluation was often spread across documents and folders. With around 200 requests in a year, a committee needed a repeatable way to read applications against the same criteria, see the supporting evidence, and keep the context attached to the eventual decision.
Build one record around the decision
Sopact Sense gives each request a connected record: the application, documents, entity ID, rubric, extracted evidence, and reviewer decision stay together. That makes it possible to surface themes and follow-up questions from open-ended answers without treating automation as the final judge.
Use multilingual AI without creating parallel workflows
PSM’s design supports data collection, evaluator prompts, and reporting in more than one language. A shared record helps the team maintain the source behind each result while refining prompts for precision and avoiding over-extraction.
Keep reporting connected to the evidence
PSM is testing a connection from its Sopact workflow into its reporting environment. Instead of rebuilding a portfolio report from documents, the reporting layer can draw from a governed record that still points back to the original application and review.
Refine the architecture as the portfolio learns
Initial baseline data—about 600 records in the implementation materials—has been consolidated as PSM continues integration testing. The current work focuses on score-display reliability, sequential evaluation logic, and reporting that helps the team compare a portfolio without losing the detail behind each score.
