Salesforce Only

Managing all data in-house requires a significant amount of expertise and resources. While it is possible to use native Salesforce survey applications such as FormAssembly, advanced data warehousing skills are necessary to manage output and outcome data effectively. Additionally, Salesforce Einstein or Tableau licenses are required, and proficiency in Tableau is essential for consolidating information from multiple sources. However, these teams may lack expertise in impact management, making it difficult to craft compelling narratives and promote impactful learning.

Industry Data Warehouse Solutions

Robust solutions like AWS Redshift and Snowflake can provide best-in-class data warehousing capabilities. Still, the high costs, expertise requirements, and potential for failure due to budgetary constraints make this option challenging for mid-sized nonprofits.

Impact Cloud

Impact Cloud is tailor-made for organizations that are growing but have limited resources. By leaving data management systems like Salesforce data untouched, we can combine our impact management expertise with the power of integration and data transformation. Our unique solution overcomes the limitations of both Salesforce-only and industry data warehouse solutions. Our platform provides a comprehensive and customizable approach to impact management, allowing you to analyze and report on your social impact data alongside your operational data. With Sopact, mid-sized nonprofits can streamline their impact management process and access valuable insights to optimize their operations and achieve their desired outcomes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Sopact founder was an innovator who built the first industry adapter. We've handled simple to complex software integration challenges. If you need real-time data integration, you are in the right place. Speak to our enterprise solutions expert.

What is the difference between Zapier (or a similar platform)? These handy platforms – Zapier, IFTTT, Microsoft Power Automate, Integromat, Automate.io, and Tray.io – are all point-and-click systems. Although they're a cost-effective solution, they do require complex data mapping and integration with enterprise systems like Salesforce, HR systems, and more. Keep in mind that security standards for enterprises are much more stringent.
What is the difference between enterprise integration platforms?

While many popular integration platforms like Workato and MuleSoft are designed for high transaction, real-time, and bidirectional needs, they come with a hefty price tag and require significant technical expertise. Most non-profit organizations need an affordable data warehouse solution with a data pipeline approach. That's why we built Sopact Impact Cloud on the flexible and cost-effective Airbytes platform.

How long does it usually take to implement a connector?

So long as we have access to the connector, we typically estimate a short time to configure it. The configuration of your system object may take between 5-8 hours, depending on its complexity and requirements.

What happens if we don't find a connector listed above?

Above, we have listed only the most commonly used connectors. We support more than 140 connectors (and growing continuously). However, many homegrown custom systems may require further assessment.  You can request a new integration by typing on top of the page the connector you are looking for and your email address.

How do you handle homegrown or custom systems?

We need access to APIs (often Rest-based APIs), JSON, or SQL-based approaches to connect a system. In all cases, you must ensure that your IT team provides authentication to retrieve data. If your system is legacy and does not have any of the above, we can work using CSV imports.

What is the benefit of connecting system?

There are many disadvantages to a system that is not connected. First of all, it leads to a broken data experience as you are continually bringing in updated data, cleaning it up, and transforming it whenever a new data feed is available.  As a fundamental benefit of impact measurement and management (IMM), using a continuously connected system, you can constantly update your dashboards, which makes it easier to track results on a continuous basis.

Will you build custom integration?

Our team can integrate your system if it has a well-documented API.  The time and effort estimation may vary based on the evaluation of the development team.
